Estadio Municipal de Anduva will be the centre of attention when Mirandes and Almeria lock horns in the La Liga 2 derby. Mirandes are on a four-game winning run in Segunda Division and, no doubt, they are determined to secure automatic La Liga promotion. Iker Benito is a major doubt after limping off with injury in a 2-1 win over Cordoba, with Alberto Izagirre likely to step up.
The Andalusians, on the other hand, defeated Racing Santander 2-0 at the weekend to retain their spot in top six. As both Almeria and Mirandes will go for a win in Sunday’s clash, we are tempted to place our bets on over 2.5 goals. Almeria midfielder Gonzalo Melero will be assessed ahead of the kick-off after picking up a knock in the triumph over los Racinguistas. Gui Guedes is pushing for a recall to the starting XI.

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process.
