Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Mirandes and Real Sociedad B face each other in the closing match of day 20 of the new La Liga2 campaign. Mirandes do not seem to be at the top of their game, with the team failing to win the previous five league fixtures, but they are surely capable of matching the Real Sociedad reserve team in front of home fans. Head coach Escobar Rodriguez should stick to the 4-4-2 formation with Lopez and Camello up front.
The Basques, on the other hand, are on a three-game losing run in the Spanish second tier. Since Real Sociedad B failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to Burgos, we do not believe that Mirandes will have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. Both Aldasoro and Djouahra are pushing for a start for the visitors.
Highlighted Player (Carlos Julio):
Carlos Julio Martinez is a La Masia product who plays for Mirandes in Segunda Division as a right back. Martinez started his youth career at the Barca football academy, but in 2013 he moved to Club Esportiu Europa. At the start of his senior career, the Dominican footballer played for both Villarreal B and Villarreal C before joining Marbella.
After scoring two goals in 63 appearances in the league for los Blanquillos, Carlos Julio Martinez moved to Mirandes in the summer of 2018. Speaking of his international career, Martinez made his debut with the Dominican Republic national team on December 8, 2012 in a 2-1 win over Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean Cup.
His primary position is right-back, but he can be used as a right midfielder as well. Carlos Julio Martinez was born in Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic, and he has a dual citizenship.
