Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Friday’s football game between Real Oviedo and Albacete will open round 11 of the new La Liga 2 campaign. Los Azules have been in a fine form of late, with the team beating both Eldense and Huesca, while sharing the spoils with Leganes. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but all Mario Hernandez, Alexandre Alemao, Alex Millan, and Rodrigo Tarin remain in the recovery room.
El Queso Mecanico, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-0 loss to Levante. Considering that both sides will go for a victory in Friday’s clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. In their last meeting in the Spanish second tier the two sides played out a 1-1 draw. Both Agus Medina and Pedro Benito are out of contention with injuries, while Albacete midfielder Sergi Maestre is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.

Based in Oviedo, Asturias, Real Oviedo is a Spanish club that plays home games at Carlos Tartiere. Carlos Tartiere is one of the biggest stadiums in Segunda division as it can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Los Azules competed in La Liga in the 1990s, but in the 2001/02 campaign they suffered relegation to Segunda Division.
Real Oviedo have not competed in the Spanish top flight ever since. In the 1991/92 season los Azules represented Spain in the UEFA Cup, but Genoa proved to be a big catch for them in the round of 64. Real Oviedo have a rivalry with Sporting Gijon, with the two teams facing each other in the Asturian derby.
