Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Real Oviedo and Racing Ferrol square off against each other at Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere in the closing match of Saturday’s program. Los Azules have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team losing to Granada, beating Malaga, while sharing the spoils with Eibar and, no doubt, they aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team, but duo Costas – Lemos remains in the recovery room.
The relegation strugglers, on the other hand, have suffered a dip in form, with the team losing each of their last three league games. With Ferrol attackers struggling to find their goal-scoring touch in recent weeks, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. Ferrol boss Alejandro Menendez is likely to stick to his rotation policy, with both Blanco and Nacho pushing for recalls to the starting eleven.
Highlighted Team (Oviedo):

Based in Oviedo, Asturias, Real Oviedo is a Spanish club that plays home games at Carlos Tartiere. Carlos Tartiere is one of the biggest stadiums in Segunda division as it can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Los Azules competed in La Liga in the 1990s, but in the 2001/02 campaign they suffered relegation to Segunda Division.
Real Oviedo have not competed in the Spanish top flight ever since. In the 1991/92 season los Azules represented Spain in the UEFA Cup, but Genoa proved to be a big catch for them in the round of 64. Real Oviedo have a rivalry with Sporting Gijon, with the two teams facing each other in the Asturian derby.
The likes of Robert Prosinecki, Stan Collymore, Dely Valdes, Abel Xavier, Paulo Bento, Marius Lacatus, Viktor Onopko, Ratomir Dujkovic, Juan Mata, Michu, Ibrahima Balde, and Slavisa Jokanovic are the famoust footballers who were part of Oviedo in the past. Carlos Munoz Cobo is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart.
