Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Real Oviedo and Huesca go head to head at Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere in the La Liga 2 round 27. Los Azules have been impressive in front of home fans of late, with the team recording four of their last five home fixtures. Oviedo have suffered only one loss at home ground this season, and they are surely capable of beating Huesca in Sunday’s clash. The good news for the hosts is that midfielder Jimmy Suarez is back from suspension.
The visitors, on the other hand, produced their best performance of the season on Matchday 26, with the team crushing Mirandes 4-0 on home soil. Xisco Munoz’s men, though, are not regarded as good travelers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Real Oviedo’s party at Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere. Both Daniel Escriche and Andrei Florin Ratiu are back from suspension for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Alejandro Arribas ):
Born in Madrid, Spain on May 1, 1989, Alejandro Arribas is a Spanish footballer who plays for Real Oviedo in La Liga 2. Arribas is a very experienced defender as he played for Primera Division sides Rayo Vallecano, Osasuna, Deportivo La Coruna and Sevilla in the past.
He is a product of Rayo Majadahonda football school, but he did not see any game action with the club at senior level. Alejandro Arribas played for Mexican club UNAM before signing a three-year deal with Real Oviedo in the summer of 2019.
He made his debut with los Azules in a 2-1 loss to Fuenlabrada on August 31, 2019. The towering defender has never received a call-up for the Spain national football team. His main position is centre-back, but he can be used as a right-back as well if needed. The right-footed footballer has a contract with Real Oviedo until June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Huesca):
Huesca are a Spanish club that compete in La Liga, the Spanish top flight. The club was originally founded in 1910, but in 1940 it was renamed Union Deportiva. In 1956 the club disappeared due to financial problems, but four years later Sociedad Deportiva Huesca was born. Huesca are well known for their blaugrana colors as their founding members were Barcelona fans.
The club welcome their rivals at El Alcoraz and it has to be noted that the capacity of the stadium is 5,500. Despite the fact that El Alcoraz can hold up to 5,500 people in December 2014 7,600 spectators watched the game between Huesca and Barcelona. Huesca will make their first ever appearance in Primera Division in the 2018/2019 season.
The likes of Leo Franco, Luis Sastre and Ruben Castro are some of the most notable footballers that played for Huesca. Real Zaragoza are considered Huesca’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in Derbi Aragones.
