Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
All eyes will be on Estadio El Sardinero when Racing Santander and Mirandes lock horns in the Segunda Division playoffs semis, first leg. Los Racinguistas are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Forward Marco Sangalli is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Granada, while midfielder Inigo Sainz-Maza continues to miss out with injury.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, finished the regular season in 4th place in the standings. Mirandes have been in a splendid form of late, but with Racing Santander being a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are tempted to place our bets on Jose Alberto Lopez’s troops. In their last meeting in La Liga 2, Mirandes defeated Racing Santander 2-1, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge. Alessio Lisci should have a full squad to choose from for the first leg.
Highlighted Team (Mirandes):

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.
Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
