Almeria
Almeria will be looking to cement top position in the Serie B standings when they take on Real Sociedad B on Matchday 40. The Andalusians are on a three-game winning run, but head coach Rubi must warn his men against complacency. Umar Sadiq, who scored his 17th goal of the season in a 3-0 win over Amorebieta, will be the man to watch in the away side, while Chumi should recover in time to face the Basques.
Since a win over Real Sociedad B could see Almeria secure automatic La Liga promotion, the visitors are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Friday’s clash. Xabi Alonso’s men, on the other hand, are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win. Real Sociedad B are determined to secure the La Liga 2 survival, and given their improvement in front of goal, both teams to score betting option should be considered. The good news for the hosts is that important midfielder Jon Ander Olasagasti is back from suspension.

Curro Sanchez is a Spanish footballer who plays for Ponferradina in Segunda Division. Born in La Palma del Condado on January 3, 1996, Sanchez began his youth career at Siempre Alegres, but in 2007 he was spotted by Sevilla scouts.
Curro Sanchez did not hesitate at all, signing a contract with the famous La Liga side. To make things even better for the Andalusian, he made his senior debut with Sevilla in La liga on May 4, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna. Curro Sanchez then joined Numancia, where he scored 13 goals in 34 appearances in Segunda Division for los Numantinos.
In 2020 he signed a deal with La Liga 2 side Ponferradina. Sanchez made his la Ponfe debut in a 2-0 win over Albacete on September 20, 2020. Even though right winger is his primary position, Curro Sanchez is capable of producing fine performances as an attacking midfielder as well.

UD Almeria is a Spanish club based in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Los Rojiblancos are one of the newer additions to the Spanish football system, with the club being founded on July 26, 1989.
Almeria suffered relegation to Segunda Division in the 2014/15 season, and they have been competing in the Spanish second tier ever since. Los Rojiblancos are well known for their white shirts with red stripes, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey. Sofiane Feghouli, Felipe Melo, Diego Alves, Veljko Paunovic, Aleix Vidal, Alvaro Negredo, Tomer Hemed, and Mate Bilic are some notable footballers who played for Almeria in the past.
