Zaragoza and Tenerife go head to head at Estadio La Romareda in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Saturday’s program. Los Blanquillos suffered yet another dip in form, with the team losing to both Alcorcon and Real Oviedo in the previous two league fixtures. Zaragoza are eager to escape the danger zone, but the game against Tenerife will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team.
Los Insulares, on the other hand, have been in a fine form of late, with the team recording three wins in the previous four league fixtures. Even though Tenerife are not regarded as good travellers, we predict that they will take advantage of Zaragoza’s current form. Defender Sergio Gonzalez is banned for the visitors, but it has to be noted that he is not regarded as a first-team regular.

James Igbekeme is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Zaragoza in La Liga 2 as a winger. Igbekeme’s primary position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a left midfielder as well.
The Nigeria international started his senior career at Portuguese club Ribeirao, and after scoring two goals in 43 appearances for Os Ribeirenses, he moved to fellow Portuguese outfit Gil Vicente. In 2018 he decided to move to Spain, signing a four-year deal with Zaragoza. The 170-cm tall footballer made his Zaragoza debut on August 19, 2018 in a 2-1 win over Rayo Majadahonda.
He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-0 win at Real Oviedo on September 8, 2018. Igbekeme’s preferred foot is left, and his contract with los Blanquillos should expire on June 30, 2023. The Zaragoza midfielder born in Lagos on July 4, 1995 has yet to receive a call-up for the Nigeria national football team.

Tenerife is a Spanish club based in the Canary Islands. Tenerife were founded on November 21, 1912, with the team playing home games at Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez. The stadium was opened on July 25, 1925 and it can hold up to 22,824 spectators.
Los Insulares established them as the elite division club in the 1990s, but in 1999 the team suffer relegation to La Liga 2. Tenerife played in la liga two seasons more (2001/02, 2009/10), but they have been competing in lower leagues ever since. Los Insulares wear white and blue shirts when playing at home, whereas light green is the dominant colour of their away kit.
Tenerife participated in the UEFA Cup in the 1993/94 season, with the team eliminating the likes of Auxerre and Olympiakos before losing to Juventus in the last 16. Three years later the Spanish club did remarkably well to make it to the UEFA Cup semis. Las Palmas are considered Tenerife’s main rivals.
