Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Following back-to-back defeats to Carrarese and Reggiana, Frosinone will look to get back on course in the Serie B when they face Pisa on Matchday 10. The Canarini suffered a dip in form, with the team failing to find the net in the last two league matches and they face yet another uphill task against Pisa. Talented forward Filippo Di Stefano remains in the recovery room, but there are no other fresh selection worries in the home team.
The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, have been in a fine form of late, beating both Cesena and Sudtirol in the last two league matches. Given Frosinone’s poor form in the Italian second tier, there is a big value in betting on the away team. Both Mehdi Leris and Tomas Esteves are major doubts and the duo will be assessed ahead of the kick-off, speaking of the visiting team.
Highlighted Team (Frosinone):
Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
