Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Mantova and Frosinone square off against each other at Stadio Danilo Martelli in what is expected to be a close Serie B encounter. Mantova failed to win the last four league matches, but it seems as if their performances are much better than the results. Salvatore Burrai remains on the sidelines with injury, but the veteran midfielder should be the only absentee in the home team.
The Canarini, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Sassuolo. As both Frosinone and Mantova will go for a win in Saturday’s clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. In their last meeting at the venue Mantova defeated Frosinone 3-1 and yet another high-scoring affair is on the horizon. All Cittadini, Pecorino, and Tsadjout are rated doubtful for the visiting team and the trio will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
Highlighted Team (Frosinone):
Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
