Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Sampdoria will look to put an end to their four-game winless run in the Serie B when they take on Catanzaro on Matchday 15. La Samp do not seem to be at their sharpest, but Saturday’s game against Catanzaro could be the turning point for the home team. Both Romagnoli and Bereszynski are sidelined with injuries, while Ronaldo Vieira faces race against clock to be fit for the match.
Fabio Caserta’s troops, meanwhile, have drawn each of their last four league matches. Catanzaro and Sampdoria are level on points in the Serie B standings, but seeing that the Giallorossi have recorded only one win on the road this term, we are tempted to place our bets on Sampdoria. In their last meeting in the Italian second tier Sampdoria defeated Catanzaro 3-1 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team ahead of the trip to Genoa.
