Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Following a goalless draw with Spezia, Sassuolo will look to return to winning ways in the Serie B when they face Cittadella at their Stadio Citta del Tricolore. The Neroverdi are eyeing a quick return to the Italian top flight, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to turn their dream into reality. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but experienced forward Domenico Berardi remains in the recovery room.
La Citta, on the other hand, failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to Mantova and Frosinone. As Sassuolo managed to beat Cittadella in each of their last three meetings in all competitions, we are tempted to put our money on the promotion-chasing hosts this time out. Edoardo Gorini has a full squad to choose from as well, but that is unlikely to help the visitors grab something from Saturday’s clash.
