Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Atalanta will be aiming to build on a 2-0 win over Lazio when they welcome Lecce to their Gewiss Stadium in the Serie A round 23. The Orobici quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Sassuolo, with the team beating the Biancocelesti in the “Eternal City”, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to make it to the Champions League. Since both Luis Muriel and Joakim Maehle are back from suspensions, home win should definitely be considered.
The Giallorossi, on the other hand, produce much better showing at home than on the travels, and seeing that they were beaten by Atalanta in their last meeting in Bergamo, home win should be considered. Both Youssef Maleh and Marin Pongracic are sidelined with injuries, while Kastriot Dermaku is a major doubt, and the defender will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
Highlighted Player (Marten de Roon):
After spending his youth career in ASWH, Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam, Marten de Roon made his senior debut on 27 March 2010. The midfielder played for Sparta against Twente back then, but he made no more than three appearances for de Kasteelheren in the 2009/2010 season.

He made 36 appearances for Atalanta in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign, but on 4 July, 2016, he signed a contract with Middlesbrough for a reported fee of £12m. The Dutch footballer scored one goal in three appearances for Netherlands U19 team.

Highlighted Team (Lecce):
When you imagine a yellow-red shirt, Lecce must be the first club that comes to your mind. Founded back in 1908, Lecce are Italian club that will compete in the Serie A in the 2019/2020 season. The Giallorossi return to the Italian top flight following a seven-year absence and, as always, they will host their rivals at Stadio Via del Mare.
The venue which was opened on September 11, 1966 can hold up to 33,876 people. The likes of Antonio Conte, Graziano Pelle, Javier Chevanton, Juan Cuadrado, Mirko Vucinic, Fabrizio Miccoli and Massimo Oddo are one of the most notable footballers who played for the Italian club in the past.
Lecce and Gallipoli face each other in the Salento derby and there have been fireworks in meetings between the two clubs since the 2009/2010 Serie B season when they first met in the league.
