Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Empoli will try to escape the relegation zone when they face Cagliari in the Serie A round 31. The Azzurri do not seem to be at their sharpest, but Sunday’s clash could turn their fortunes around in the national championship. It has to be noted, though, that both Emmanuel Gyasi and Jacopo Fazzini are banned for the home side. The Rossoblu, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Monza and they managed to get one.
Cagliari, though, are not regarded as good travellers and that is probably the main reason why we are going to place our bets on draw. Both Gaetano and Luvumbo are in line for recalls to the starting XI after getting their names on the scoresheet in the triumph over Monza, while defender Adam Obert remains doubtful and will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
