Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Frosinone and Fiorentina go head to head at Stadio Benito Stirpe in a highly-anticipated Serie A game. In their last meeting in the Italian top flight, back in 2019, Frosinone shocked Fiorentina at Stadio Artemio Franchi, meaning that the Viola are hungry for revenge. Dodo limped off with injury in a 2-0 win over Udinese at Dacia Arena, with Michael Kayode likely to step up.
The Canarini, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous four league matches, meaning that they are high on confidence ahead of the visit of Fiorentina. As Frosinone are tough to beat at home, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. All Abdou Harroui, Francesco Gelli, and Sergio Kalaj are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team. Eusebio Di Francesco is likely to stick to the 4-3-3 formation.
Highlighted Player (Christian Kouame):
Christian Kouame is an Ivory Coast international who has been playing for Serie A side Genoa since 2018. Kouame started his youth career at Prato and after ending his loan spells with the likes of Sassuolo and Inter, he returned to Stadio Lungobisenzio.
The 185-cm-tall forward made his professional debut with Prato on September 6, 2015 in a 2-1 loss to Pisa. Christian Kouame started the match, but he was replaced by Alberto Aladje after 66 minutes. The Genoa attacker, though, has yet to earn a call-up for the Ivory Coast national team. He has two caps for the Ivory Coast U23 team, but he is still eyeing his senior team debut.
His main position is centre-forward, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. The Genoa footballer was born in Abijan on December 6, 1997 and he has a contract with the Rossoblu until June 30, 2023.
Highlighted Team (Frosinone):
Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
