Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Stadio Via del Mare will host relegation six-pointer between Lecce and Sampdoria. As expected, Lecce experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to Juventus, but they are surely capable of making life difficult for the fellow relegation-threatened team. The GIallorossi will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways, but keep in mind that defender Fabio Lucioni is sidelined through suspension.
La Samp, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Bologna. Claudio Ranieri’s troops aim to put an end to their three-game losing run in the Serie A, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Wednesday’s clash as well. Even though experienced attacker Fabio Quagliarella remains in the recovery room, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score.

Highlighted Player (Fabio Lucioni):

Fabio Lucioni is a product of Ternana football school. Lucioni played for the youth team of Ternana from 2002 to 2005 and he eventually made 14 appearances for the first team. The 185-cm-tall defender played for the likes of Monopoli, Noicattaro, Gela, Barletta, Spezia and Reggina in the past as well before joining Benevento in 2014.
Lucioni has established himself as a first-team regular at the club and it has to be noted that he scored three goals in 46 appearances for Benevento in the 2016/2017 Serie B campaign. The Stregoni secured promotion to the Serie A by beating Carpi in the play-offs final, meaning that Lucioni will have a chance to test a top-flight football in the 2017/2018 season.
Lucioni’s main position is centre-back and his contract with Benevento expires on June 30, 2018. The left-footed defender, who was born in Terni on September 25, 1987, has yet to earn a call-up for the Italian national football team.
Highlighted Team (Sampdoria):

Sampdoria is an Italian football club from Genoa which is currently playing in the highest Italian football division: the Serie A. The club colours of Sampdoria are blue and white and is known under the nickname Blucerchiati. Sampdoria host it’s home games in the Stadio Luigi Ferraris which is located in Genua. Sampdoria managed to win the Scudetto once in 1991, the Coppa Italia 4 times in 1985, 1988, 1989 and 1994 and the Europe Cup II in 1990.
There are a lot of important players in football history that played for Sampdoria such as: Seedorf, Gullit, Mancini, Poli, Vieri, Zenga, Falcone, Karembeu, Vialli, Klinsmann and Veron.
