Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Milan play host to Venezia at their Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on day 5 of the new Serie A campaign. The Rossoneri came from behind to share the spoils with Juventus at the weekend, with Ante Rebic scoring a late equalizer. Milan aim to stay in the title race, but keep in mind that important defender Simon Kjaer has joined Davide Calabria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rade Krunic, and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the recovery room.
Venezia, on the other hand, suffered a heart-breaking 2-1 loss to Spezia at the weekend, and given their shaky defence, we believe that Milan will return to winning ways on Matchday 5. In Ibrahimovic’s absence, Rafael Leao is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts. All Lezzerini, Fiordilino, and Ala-Myllymaki are injured for the visiting team. In their last meeting in the Serie A, back in 2002, Milan defeated Venezia 4-1.
