Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Sampdoria will be aiming to make amends for a heavy 5-1 loss to Lazio when they welcome Sassuolo at their Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Matchday 21. La Samp have been having their ups and downs of late, but the fact that they outclassed Brescia 5-1 in their last home game is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. It has to be noted, though, that German defender Julian Chabot misses the match through suspension.
The Neroverdi, on the other hand, came from behind to beat Torino 2-1 in front of home fans. Sassuolo, though, are not regarded as good travellers, with the team suffering back-to-back losses to the likes of Genoa and Udinese in the previous two away games in the national championship. Considering that Sampdoria are tough to beat at home, we predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils in Sunday’s football match.
