Our prediction for this World Cup 2026 match:
Sao Tome and Principe will look to put an end to their three-game losing run in Group H when they take on Liberia on Sunday. The rock-bottom side failed to upset Malawi in their third group game and they face yet another difficult task against Liberia. Rogerio Fernandes limped off with injury in the last league match, with Sergio Alexandre Andrade Male likely to step up.
The Lone Stars, on the other hand, came from behind to share the spoils with Namibia on Wednesday afternoon. As Liberia are eager to move closer to the promotion places in Group H, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting side. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team ahead of the trip to Oujda. It has to be noted that the two teams meet for the first time in the World Cup qualifiers.
