Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Top position in the Conference League group will be at stake when Leuven and Charleroi go head to head at Den Dreef on Friday evening. Leuven did well to beat St. Truiden 3-2 before the international break, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Charleroi’s visit. A man to watch in the home team will be Siebe Schrijvers, who scored a brace in the last league match, while midfielder William Balikwisha has yet to serve his ban.
Charleroi, on the other hand, aim to recover from back-to-back losses to Mechelen and Club Brugge, but given their difficulties at the back, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side. Speaking of the away team, forward Isaac Mbenza is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while goalkeeper Theo Defourny remains on the sidelines with injury.
