Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Sunday’s clash between Leuven and Kortrijk will bring down the curtain on day 19 of the 2022/2023 Jupiler League campaign. Leuven did well to hold reigning champions Club Brugge to a draw on Matchday 18, meaning that they are high on spirits ahead of the visit of Kortrijk. Since Marc Brys’ troops outclassed Seraing 5-0 in their last game at Den Dreef, home win should definitely be considered. It has to be noted, though, that midfielder Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson serves a one-game ban.
De Kerels, on the other hand, did well to beat title-chasing Genk in their last league match, but given their poor winless run on the road (0-1-3), we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from Sunday’s showdown. Speaking of the visiting side, experienced forward Kristof D’Haene is back from suspension, while Didier Lamkel Ze remains on the sidelines with personal reasons.
