Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
After failing to secure promotion to Bundesliga, Hamburger SV will be aiming to give fans some cheer when they take on Braunschweig in the last game of the season. Die Rothosen suffered a heart-breaking loss to Osnabruck at the weekend, and, as a result, they have little to play for in Sunday’s football match. Even though HSV have recorded nine wins at home so far this season, we are not tempted to put our money on Horst Hrubesch’s troops as they head into the game with the lack of motivation.
Die Lowen, on the other hand, are desperate to secure the 2. Bundesliga survival. Considering that the relegation-threatened visitors want this win more than the hosts, we are tempted to put our money on the away side. It has to be noted, though, that Korea international Dong-Won Ji is banned for the visiting team.
