Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Union Berlin and Werder Bremen, Augsburg will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Heidenheim on Matchday 19. The Bavarians have been producing fine displays at the start of 2025 and they are on the right track to secure the Bundesliga survival. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be DR Congo forward Samuel Essende, who scored a brace against Werder Bremen, while all Robert Gumny, Masaya Okugawa, Yusuf Kabadayi, Keven Schlotterbeck, and Reece Oxford miss out with injuries for the home team.
Heidenheim, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to St. Pauli, which is yet another reason why we are going to place our bets on the home team. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team, but all Mikkel Kaufmann, Mathias Honsak, Jonas Foehrenbach, and Niklas Dorsch remain in the recovery room.
