Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Freiburg and Mainz take on each other at Europa-Park Stadion in the closing match of the Bundesliga round 30. Christian Streich’s men quickly bounced back from a heavy 4-1 loss to Leipzig, with the team beating Darmstadt thanks to Ritsu Doan’s goal and a win over Mainz will see them stay in the Conference League race. Lucas Holer is back from suspension, whilst all Philipp Lienhart, Matthias Ginter, Noah Weishaupt, Kenneth Schmidt, and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh should miss out with injuries. Roland Sallai is banned for the match.
Die Nullfunfer, on the other hand, proved their worth in back-to-back wins over Darmstadt (4-0) and Hoffenheim (4-1), but given their ups and downs on the road, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. You should know that under 2.5 goals have been netted in five of the previous six meetings between the two teams. All Nelson Weiper, Maxim Leitsch, and Stefan Bell are injured for the visiting side.
