Mewa Arena will host Saturday’s Bundesliga game between Mainz and Wolfsburg. Die Nullfunfer aim to put an end to their four-game winless run and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s troops. Midfielder Paul Nebel serves a one-game ban, while Philipp Mwene faces race against the clock to be fit for Saturday’s encounter. Nadiem Amiri is back from suspension.
The Wolves, on the other hand, have been slipping down the standings week by week and given their four-game losing run in the Bundesliga, home win should definitely be considered. In the first half of the season, Wolfsburg recorded a thrilling 4-3 win over Mainz and yet another high-scoring contest is on the cards. Andreas Skov Olsen is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in a 3-2 loss to Leipzig, while Yannick Gerhard misses out through suspension. Defender Cedric Zesiger, though, is back to contention.

Dominik Kohr is a product of Bayer Leverkusen’s youth school. The German midfielder was born in Tier on 31 January, 1994 and he made eight appearances for the Bundesliga side at senior level. He spent the 2014/2015 season on loan at Augsburg, playing 34 games for the club in the German elite division and his loan was made permanent at the end of the season (18 June, 2015).
He scored his first goal for the club from the penalty spot in a 1-0 win over Wolfsburg. Kohr has four caps for Germany U20 and he played for the U18 and the U19 teams in the past as well. Dominik Kohr is a central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and a centre back as well.
He has a contract with Augsburg which expires on 30 June, 2019. Kohr played 26 games for Augsburg in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign.

Wolfsburg are a German football club founded in the aftermath of the World War II (1945). Die Wolfe (The Wolves) wear green and white shirts and they play their home games at Volkswagen Arena. The capacity of the stadium is 30,000 and it was opened on 13 December, 2002.
It is well known that German car manufacturer Volkswagen are the club’s main sponsors. Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga trophy in 2009 and the likes of Edin Dzeko, Grafite and Zvjezdan Misimovic were part of the club’s golden generation.
You should bear in mind that Grafite and Dzeko scored 54 goals between each other in the 2008/2009 Bundesliga campaign and that the team clinched the trophy thanks to a 5-1 win over Werder Bremen on 23 May, 2009.
