Saturday’s football game at Oakwell pits together Barnsley and Middlesbrough, the two top-table sides. Thanks to a 2-1 win over Luton, Barnsley moved one step closer to booking their place in the playoffs, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season. A man to watch in the home team will be talented USA attacker Daryl Dike, who scored a brace in the victory over Luton, while all Kane, Kitching, and Williams are likely to miss the game with injuries.
As for the away team, the Boro head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Watford. Middlesbrough aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive, but given their anything but good form in the Championship, we are tempted to put our money on the Tykes. The likes of Browne, Dijksteel, Fry, and Tavernier are out of contention with injuries.

Patrick Schmidt is an Austria international who plays for Championship club Barnsley as a forward. Born in Eisenstadt, Austria on July 22, 1998 Schmidt began his senior career at Admira Wacker. After making 46 appearances for Admira Wacker II, the 179-cm tall striker started playing for the first-team in the 2016/2017 Austrian Bundesliga season.
Three years later Patrick Schmidt decided to take a step forward in his football career as he signed a four-year deal with Barnsley. The full-of-pace forward scored eight goals in the 2018/2019 season for Admira and he is widely expected to shine with the Tykes in the 2019/2020 Championship campaign. It has to be noted that Schmidt played for Austria U16, U17, U18 and U19 teams.
The Barnsley attacker currently represents Austria U21 team in international matches. His main position is centre-forward, but he is used as both left and right winger as well.
