Preston
Bloomfield Road will host Saturday’s football game between Blackpool and Preston, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. The Seasiders aim to escape the danger zone, but keep in mind that they were beaten by Hull City in their last home fixture. The good news for the hosts is that all Ekpiteta, Lavery, and Thompson are out of contention through suspension.
The Lilywhites, on the other hand, did well to beat Huddersfield on the road thanks to Greg Cunningham’s goal, with the team climbing to 9th place in the standings. Preston aim to move closer to the playoffs berth, and given Blackpool’s difficulties at the back, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the away side. Troy Parrott remains in the recovery room, while both Liam Lindsay and Daniel Johnson are rated doubtful for the match.

Chris Maxwell is a Welsh goalkeeper who was born in St Asaph on July 30, 1990. Maxwell began his youth career at Penrhyn Bay (1998-2000) and in 2000 he moved to Wrexham. The 188-cm-tall shoot-stopper made his first-team debut for Wrexham at the age of 18 and he played 76 league games for the club from 2008 to 2012.
During the 2008/2009 season he spent six months on loan at Welsh club Connah’s Quay Nomads and in 2012 he joined Fleetwood Town. Chris Maxwell made 110 appearances in the league for the Trawlermen and on May 16, 2016 he signed a three-year deal with Championship side Preston North End. You should know that he managed to keep clean sheets in 38 appearances for the Lilywhites in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign.
Due to his dual citizenship, Maxwell is capable of representing both Wales and Scotland at senior level, but he played for the Dragons at youth level, being capped for the U21 team 16 times.

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later.
In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division).
