Aesseal New York Stadium will host Wednesday’s football match between Rotherham United and Queens Park Rangers. Following back-to-back defeats to Millwall and Wycombe, the Millers played out a goalless draw with Huddersfield in their last league match. Rotherham United are determined to avoid relegation to the League One, and seeing that QPR have little to play for in the season finale, home win should be considered. Joe Mattock should be the only absentee in the home team.
The Hoops did well to crush Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 in their last league match, but it is well known that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Both Luke Amos and Tom Carroll are sidelined with injuries, while Charlie Austin will have to serve his ban in the midweek clash. Geoff Cameron is a major doubt, and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.

Born in Harlow, England on September 28, 1992, Adam Thompson is a defender who plays for Bury in League One. Thompson started his youth career at Watford and after making 14 appearances for the Hornets at senior level, he moved to Southend United, signing a permanent deal with the club in January, 2014.
It has to be noted that he played for the likes of Brentford, Wycombe Wanderers and Barnet on loan as well before joining the Shakers. Adam Thompson has a short loan spell at Bradford City in the 2017/2018 season, but he made no more than nine appearances for the Bantams. Despite being born in England, Adam Thompson decided to represent Northern Ireland in international matches.
He made his debut with the Northern Ireland national team on February 9, 2011, coming from the bench in a 3-0 loss to Scotland. His main position is centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine showings at right-back as well.

Queens Park Rangers are well known as QPR. The capital club was founded in 1886 and Loftus Road Stadium is QPR’s ground. Loftus Road Stadium was opened in 1904 and the capacity of the venue 18,439. However, it has to be noted that no less than 35,353 spectators watched the game between QPR and Leeds on 27 April, 1974.
The Hoops finished the 1975/1976 First Division campaign in second position in the standings, just behind champions Liverpool. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but Queens Park Rangers made it to the FA Cup final in 1982 as well.
QPR were beaten by fellow capital club Tottenham Hotspur in the title game, but they did well to lift the League Cup trophy in 1967. Queens Park’s main rivals are Brentford, Chelsea and Fulham, but other clubs based in London are considered QPR’s rivals as well. The colour of QPR’s shirts is blue and white.
