Elche will look to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Villarreal when they take on Real Madrid on Thursday evening. Los Franjiverdes are on a three-game winning run in all competitions, but Carlo Ancelotti’s troops will pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals. Lucas Boye is pushing for a start after scoring the winner against the Yellow Submarine, while both Fidel and Palacios are rated doubtful for the match.
