Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
West Ham United will be looking to move one step closer to booking their place in the Europa Conference League quarter-finals when they face AEK Larnaca at AEK Arena on Thursday evening. The Hammers are seen as favourites to win the first leg, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Both Lanzini and Scamacca are pushing for a start, while all Cornet, Coufal, and Fabianski are out of contention through injuries.
The Cypriotes, on the other hand, aim to build on a 3-1 win over Paralimni. AEK Larnaca, though, face an uphill task against West Ham, who are desperate to bounce back from a heavy 4-0 loss to Brighton. Even though there are no fresh injury worries in the home team, we are tempted to put our money on the Premier League side. This will be the first meeting between the two clubs in European competitions.
