Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
APOEL play host to Botev Plovdiv at their Neo GSP Stadium in what is expected to be an interesting Conference League game. APOEL were anything but impressive in the first leg, with the team having no more than seven goal attempts, but it is well known that the Cypriotes produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Head coach Sofronis Avgousti has a number of internationals to choose from, but his men will have to prove their worth on the field.
The Bulgarians, on the other hand, are likely to adopt yet another defence-minded approach in the second leg, but we do not believe that they are capable of preventing APOEL attackers from scoring for the second time in just seven day. Keep in mind, though, that the Cypriot outfit played out a 2-2 draw with Zrinjski in their last home game in European competitions.
