Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Gent will look to record their second win in the Europa Conference League when they take on Anorthosis at their Ghelamco Arena. Gent defeated Flora thanks to Darko Lemajic’s goal, and a win over Anorthosis will see them move one step closer to booking their place in the knockout stages. The Jupiler League outfit head into the match following a 2-1 win over Cercle Brugge, meaning that they are high on confidence ahead of the visit of the Cypriotes.
All Bruno, Hjulsager, and Odjidja-Ofoe are injured for the hosts, while aforementioned forward Lemajic is pushing for a start after he found the net in the last league match. Temur Ketsbaia’s troops, on the other hand, produced a poor display in a 2-0 loss to Partizan, and they are unlikely to spoil Gent’s party at Ghelamco Arena. The good news for the visitors is that both Christofi and Chrysostmou have recovered from their respective injuries.
