Crewe
Boundary Park will host Tuesday’s friendly between Oldham and Crewe. The Latics shared the spoils with Avro following back-to-back losses to Wigan Athletic (1-2) and Burnley (0-2), and we are positive that they will go for a win in their sixth warm-up game of the pre-season. The Railwaymen, on the other hand, proved their worth in a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as favourites to win Tuesday’s game.
Crewe are more of a team than Oldham, and regardless of which players will be deployed in the starting XI, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the away team. In their last meeting in a competitive match Crewe defeated Oldham 2-1, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. Callum Ainley is pushing for a start after finding the net in the draw with the Reds.

Conor McAleny is a product of Everton youth academy, joining the club from Merseyside in 2003 at the age of 11. Despite the fact that his main position is centre-forward, McAleny is used as both second striker and left winger as well. McAleny did spend his youth career at Goodison Park, but it has to be noted that he made no more than two appearances for the Toffees at senior level.
The English attacker, who was born in Whiston on August 12, 1992, made his first-team debut in a 1-0 Premier League loss to Arsenal on December, 2011. Conor McAleny played for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Brentford, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Wigan Athletic and Oxford United before signing a deal with Fleetwood Town.
The right-footed striker spent the second half of the 2018/2019 season on loan at Kilmarnock, scoring 3 goals in 11 appearances for the club in the Scottish Premier League.

Crewe Aleandra are a professional football club that welcome their rivals at Gresty Road. The stadium was built in 1906, and it can hold up to 10,153 spectators. Founded back in 1877, Crewe Alexandra play their home games in red shirts and white shorts, while yellow is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The Railwaymen played their first game against North Staffs in 1877, with the two teams sharing the spoils (1-1) at Alexandra Recreation Ground. Nowadays, Crewe compete in the League 2 where they take on their main rivals Port Vale. In 2014 a match between the two sides resulted in violence and arrests.
