Wigan and Lincoln go head to head at DW Stadium in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games of Saturday’s program. The Latics suffered yet another dip in form, with the team losing the previous two league fixtures. Wigan’s defence looked pretty shaky at the back in the 5-0 loss to Hull City, and it is no wonder they are seen as underdogs in Saturday’s clash. Pearce remains on the sidelines with injury, while Massey has overcome his injury.
Palmer is rated doubtful for the Lincoln game. The league leaders, on the other hand, will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways in the League One. Wigan Athletic experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the loss to the Tigers, and, taking everything into account, away win should be considered. Keep in mind that Lincoln are eyeing their tenth away win of the process.
