There will be fireworks when Grimsby Town and Cheltenham Town take on each other at Blundell Park on Matchday 40. The Mariners are undefeated in the previous seven league fixtures, but it has to be noted that they recorded only one win from those encounters. Grimsby are desperate to keep their survival hopes alive, but they will have a big fish to fry in Monday’s football match.
The Robins, on the other hand, did well to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Morecambe, with the team rolling over Tranmere 4-0 in their last league match. Cheltenham produce much better showings at home than on the travels, but they are still seen as favourites to win Monday’s game. Since the Robins are eyeing automatic promotion to the Championship, we believe that away win should be considered. Conor Thomas, who suffered an injury in the defeat to Cheltenham, is unlikely to feature for the visitors.

Sean Scannell is a winger who plays for Huddersfield Town. The Irish footballer is capable of playing up front as well and he began his senior career at Crystal Palace, before penning a three-year contract with Huddersfield Town.
The English player, who was born in Croydon on 17 September 1990, made 25 outings for Huddersfield in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign, scoring one goal for the club. Sean Scannell has 10 caps for Republic of Ireland Under-21 side, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. Scannell was named Republic of Ireland Young Player of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he was Crystal Palace’s Young Player of the Year.
His contract with Huddersfield Town expires on 30 June, 2019 and his highest market value was €1 million back on 8 January, 2009. Sean Scannell started his youth career in Addiscombe Corinthians, but he played for Crystal Palace youth teams as well.
