Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Newport County and Harrogate face each other at Rodney Parade in what is expected to be a close encounter. The Exiles aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Chesterfield and Accrington, but given their shaky defence, home win should not be considered. As Newport experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 5-0 loss to Accrington, manager Nelson Jardim should make some changes to the starting XI. All Evans, Brennan, Ajiboye, and Bony are in line for recalls to the starting XI.
The Sulphurites, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Carlisle. Harrogate, though, have been struggling on the travels of late, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on draw. Levi Sutton limped off with injury in the last league match, with Stephen Dooley likely to sneak into Harrogate’s starting XI.
