Our prediction for this MLS match:
Toyota Stadium will host Tuesday’s MLS game between Dallas and Inter Miami. The Toros aim to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Los Angeles FC, with the team eyeing their sixth home win of the process. Midfielder Joshue Quinonez remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team. Inter Miami, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 2-0 loss to Atlanta United, with the team beating Minnesota United 2-1 in their last league fixture.
The Herons, though, are not regarded as good travelers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on Dallas this time out. All Joevin Jones, Nick Marsman, Brek Shea, and Ian Fray are out of contention through injuries, but there are no other absentees in the away team ahead of the trip to Texas.
Highlighted Player (Matt Hedges):
Matthew Hedges is a 193-cm tall centre back who was born in Rochester, New York on April 1, 1990. At the age of 18 he started his college career at Butler Bulldogs and in 2011 he moved to North Carolina Tar Heels. After scoring 18 goals in total in college football, Matt played for Reading United before joining MLS club FC Dallas.
The American footballer has been playing for FC Dallas since 2012 and in 2016 he won both US Open Cup and Supporters’ Shield with the Toros. Matthew Hedges made his debut for USA national soccer team on February 8, 2015, coming as a substittute in the 72nd minute in a friendly against Panama.
2017 was the most successful year of his career as he won the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the Yenks. USA defeated Jamaica 2-1 in the title game, but Matt Hedges was not given an opportunity to play in the final. His preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Inter Miami):
Inter Miami is an American football (soccer) club that has been competing in the Major League Soccer since 2020. The Herons faced Los Angeles FC on their MLS debut, with the team suffering a 1-0 loss at Venue Banc of California Stadium.
Inter Miami recorded their first MLS win on August 23, 2020, with the team beating Orlando City 3-2 during the coronavirus pandemic. The Herons wear white shirts and violet shorts when playing at home, while black is the dominant colour of their away jersey. Inter Miami welcome their rivals at Inter Miami FC Stadium, the venue which can hold no more than 18,000 spectators.
The stadium was opened on July 18, 2020. Former Manchester United and England ace David Beckham shares the ownership of the club with the likes of Marcelo Claure, Jorge and Jose Mas, and Masayoshi Son. Uruguay tactician Diego Alonso is the first head coach in the history of the club.
