Portland Timbers
Toyota Stadium will host Sunday’s MLS game between Dallas and Portland, the two teams who defeated Nashville and Austin respectively at the weekend. Dallas continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Portland.
Both Jara and Velasco are pushing for a start after the duo go their names on the scoresheet in the triumph over Nashville, while Hernandez continues to miss out with injury. The Timbers, on the other hand, aim to extend their unbeaten run to four games, but beating Dallas on the road is easier said than done. 2017 was the most successful year of his career as he won the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the Yenks. USA defeated Jamaica 2-1 in the title game, but Matt Hedges was not given an opportunity to play in the final. His preferred foot is right.
