Colorado Rapids
Houston Dynamo play host to Colorado Rapids at their PNC Stadium in what is expected to be a close MLS game. Houston quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City, with the team beating Vancouver 2-1 in front of home fans. The Dynamo are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they will have to prove their worth on the field.
A man to watch in the home team will be Darwin Quintero, who scored a brace at the weekend, while Lemoine is a major doubt, and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. The Rapids, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Atlanta United and Sporting Kansas City. Colorado are high on spirits ahead of Sunday’s clash, but seeing that Houston are tough to beat at home, the share of spoils is on the horizon. Both Braian Galvan and Aboubacar Keita remain on the sidelines for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Diego Rubio):
Diego Rubio is a Chilean attacker who signed his first professional deal with Colo-Colo. Rubio, though, made only eight league appearances (scoring three goals) for the Chilean outfit and in 2011 he moved to Europe, signing a deal with Primeira Liga team Sporting Lisbon. After playing only 11 league matches for the Lions, the 179-cm tall striker joined Spanish club Valladolid at the age of 22.
It has to be noted that during his spell with Sporting Lisbon he was loaned to the likes of Pandurii Targu Kiu and Sandnes Ulf. On September 1, 2016 Diego Rubio signed a permanent teal with Sporting Kansas City and he has been playing for the MLS club ever since.
Rubio was born on May 15, 1993 in Santiago, the capital of Chile, and he made his debut for the Chilean national football team in June, 2011 against Paraguay. His contract with Sporting Kansas City expires on June 30, 2017.

Colorado Rapids is a Major League Soccer club and they compete in the USA professional soccer league as a member of the Western Conference. Colorado began their play in MLS back in 1996 and 14 years later they managed to win the MLS Cup trophy. The Rapids recorded a 2-1 win over FC Dallas in the final of the tournament, with George John scoring the winner for Gary Smith’s team in the extra time. Colorado made it to the MLS Cup final in 1997 as well, but D.C. United proved to be a big catch for the club in the title game.
The Rapids play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and the venue has been Colorado’s home ground since 2007. It has to be noted that the likes of Tim Howard, Carlos Valderama, Claudio Lopez and Jermaine Jones were all part of the club in the past. Colorado’s colors are red, sky blue and white, but they were yellow shirts and blue shorts when playing on the travels.
