Our prediction for this MLS match:
After holding Nashville to a goalless draw at Nissan Stadium, Inter Miami will be looking to return to winning ways in MLS when they take on Atlanta United at DRV PNK Stadium. Inter have been having their ups and downs at the start of the season, but the bookies still see them as favourites to win Sunday’s clash. Both Gonzalo and Federico Higuain return to contention after the duo missed the Nashville game through personal reasons.
The Five Stripes, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 loss at New England Revolution, and seeing that they are not regarded as good travellers, home win should be considered. Mexico international Jurgen Damm, who suffered an injury in the defeat to the Revs, is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s clash. Anyhow, Inter Miami are more of a team than Atlanta United, and we predict that they will take advantage of Gonzalo Higuain’s return to the starting XI.
