New England Revolution
Saturday’s football game at Nissan Stadium pits together Nashville and New England Revolution, the two teams who meet for the third time in the Major League Soccer. In the previous two meetings the two sides shared the spoils, and yet another close encounter is on the horizon. All Anunga, Danladi, and Rios have been struggling with injuries of late, and the trio is unlikely to feature against New England Revolution.
The Revs, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over DC United and Atlanta United. New England Revolution have been showing signs of improvement of late, but beating Nashville at Nissan Stadium is easier said than done. Colombia midfielder Luis Caicedo remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the away team. Anyhow, share of spoils is on the horizon in Saturday’s clash.

Anibal Godoy is a professional footballer who plays for Panama national football team. The powerful midfielder was born on February 10, 1990 and he has been playing for los Ticos since March 4, 2010 when he made his debut for the national team.
Anibal Godoy played full 90 minutes in the 2-1 win over Venezuela and he scored his first goal for Panama four years late in a 3-1 victory over El Salvador. Speaking of his club career, Godoy played for Chepo of Panama from 2007 to 2010 and he moved to Europe in the summer of 2013, signing a deal with Hungarian outfit Honved.
After playing 24 league games (one goal) for Honved, Godoy signed for Major League Soccer club San Jose Earthquakes in August 2015. Anibal Godoy is a defensive midfielder and his preferred foot is left. His contract with San Jose should expire in December, 2017 and it has to be noted that he began his youth career Arsenal de Sarandi of Argentina.
Highlighted Team (New England Revolution):
Unlike famous NFL club New England Patriots, the Revolution have yet to win the domestic trophy. New England participated five times in the MLS Cup final, but they were more than fortunate not to lift the silverware. The Revs played their last final in 2014, with the team losing to LA Galaxy in the title game at StubHub Center. New England Revolution, though, clinched the North American SuperLiga trophy in 2008 and that is considered as the club’s biggest success.
It has to be noted that the Revs defeated Houston Dynamo on penalties in the final of the tournament. New England Revolution were founded in 1994 and Gillette Stadium is the home ground of the club. Legendary defender Alexi Lalas played for the Revolution (1996-1997) and he scored three goals for the Gillette Stadium outfit. Fellow USA ace Clint Dempsey was part of the team as well and you should know that he netted 25 goals in 71 league appearances for the club.
