Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
RKC will be looking to move away from bottom three when they take on Emmen in the relegation six-pointer on Friday evening. The Yellow-Blues have not recorded a win in the league since December 5, 2020, but it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Since El Haddouti and Ngonge are the only absentees in the home team, we are tempted to put our money on Fred Grim’s troops.
Emmen, on the other hand, do not seem to be competitive at this level, with the team collecting only six points in total to date. Since RKC are desperate to put an end to their ten-game winless run in the Dutch top flight, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. The likes of Caciano and Kolar have joined Carty in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Konstantinos Lamprou):
Konstantinos Lamprou is a Greek goalkeeper who plays for Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. Kostas is a product of the famous Ajax football academy, but he eventually decided to join Feyenoord football school. The 178-cm-tall shot-stopper continued playing for Feyenoord at senior level, making 14 league appearances for De Trots van Zuid.
During his spell with Feyenoord, Kostas Lamprou played for the likes of Excelsior and Willem II on loan as well. In 2017 he returned to Ajax, but made no more than three appearances in the Eredivisie with the Amsterdammers.
In the 2019/20 season he did not see any game action with Vitesse, and, as a result, he decided to join RKC Waalwijk at the end of the campaign. Born in Athens on September 18, 1991, Konstantinos Lamprou has 14 caps for the Greece U21 team. He has yet to make his debut with the senior team. His preferred foot is left and he wears the No. 31 shirt at RKC Waalwijk.
