Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Braga will be aiming to record their third consecutive win in the Primeira Liga when they take on Nacional at Estadio da Madeira on Matchday 21. Braga have slim of winning the national championship, but thanks to the triumph over Tondela they managed to keep their Champions League hopes alive. Os Minhotos are only one point behind second-place Porto, and seeing that the Dragons face Sporting CP this weekend, we are positive that Braga will fight tooth and nail against Nacional.
A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Lucas Piazon, who impressed in the 4-2 win over Tondela. The Black and Whites do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the visit of Braga as they were beaten by both Farense and Belenenses in the previous two league fixtures, and we do not believe that they are capable of upsetting the Champions League-chasing side. Both Azouni and Borges are back from suspension for the hosts.
Highlighted Player (Riccardo Piscitelli ):
Born in Vimercate, Italy on October 10, 1993, Riccardo Piscitelli is a goalkeeper who plays for Nacional in Primeira Liga. Piscitelli started his youth career at Serie A giants Milan, but he was not given a chance to play for the senior team.
As a result, he was sent on loan to Carrarese where he made 23 appearances in the league. The Italian shot-stopper played for the likes of Benevento, Carpi, and Dinamo Bucuresti as well before joining Nacional in 2020. Riccardo Piscitelli has three caps with the Italy U20 team, but he has yet to make his debut with the senior team.
His preferred foot is left, and he has a contract with Nacional until July 24, 2020. The 189-cm-tall has yet to establish himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at Nacional as he has been in Daniel’s shadow. His preferred foot is left.
Highlighted Team (Braga):
Braga are a Portuguese club that have always been in the shadow of Primeira Liga giants Porto, Benfica and Sporting. Os Minhotos were founded on 19 January, 1921 and they originally played in green and white kits. After the World War II they changed their kits to red and they have been wearing red shirts and white shorts ever since.
Braga play their home games at Estadio Municipal de Braga, the stadium that was opened in December, 2003. Os Minhotos have yet to win the Primeira Liga title, but they finished the 2009/2010 campaign in second position in the standings, just five points behind champions Benfica.
In 2011 Braga participated in the Europa League final, but fellow Portuguese outfit Porto proved to be a big catch for Os Minhotos. Anyhow, that is regarded as the club’s biggest success. Vitoria de Guimaraes are considered Braga’s bitter rivals and the two teams face each other in the Minho derby.
