Expect an electrifying atmosphere at Anfield when Liverpool and Manchester City lock horns in the Premier League derby on Matchday 13. The Reds are eager to build on a hard-fought 3-2 win over Southampton and a triumph over Pep Guardiola’s troops will see them move one step closer to regaining the trophy. Luis Diaz is widely expected to return to the starting XI, Argentina midfielder Alexis Mac Allister pushing for a recall as well. The likes of Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa, Alisson Becker, Kostas Tsimikas, and Diogo Jota are all out of contention with injuries.
The Citizens, on the other hand, extended their losing run to five games in all competitions at the weekend, with the team suffering an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Tottenham at home ground.
