There will be fireworks when Manchester City and Manchester United take on each other in the Manchester derby on Sunday. The Citizens aim to retain top position in the standings, and seeing that Liverpool is still breathing down their neck, the local derby is of big importance for the league leaders. Since Pep Guardiola has a full squad to choose from, home win should be considered. Riyad Mahrez is likely to be recalled to the starting line-up.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, failed to impress in a goalless draw with Watford, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Man City’s party at Etihad Stadium. Edinson Cavani remains in the recovery room, while Mason Greenwood is still out of contention due to coach’s decision. Marcus Rashford is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute at the weekend.
