Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Manchester United and Aston Villa take on each other at Old Trafford in the closing match of Tuesday’s program. The Red Devils have been struggling to find their best form of late, with the team losing to both Bournemouth and West Ham United, while sharing the spoils with Liverpool and it is no wonder the odds for away win have been dropping. Both Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford should be recalled to the starting XI, while Diogo Dalot is back from suspension.
The Villans, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United, but a win over Man Utd could see them climb to top position in the standings. Aston Villa seem to be more of a team than Manchester United and we predict that Unai Emery’s troops are going to prove their worth on the field. Boubacar Kamara is banned for the match, while all Emiliano Buendia, Tyrone Mings, Kortney Hause, and Bertrand Traore miss out with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Bruno Fernandes):
Bruno Fernandes is a Portuguese footballer who used to play for Novara before joining Udinese in a co-ownership deal in the summer of 2013. The Portuguese midfielder scored his first goal for the club in a 3-3 draw with Napoli on 7 December, 2013.
Three years later he signed a deal with Sampdoria for a fee of €7 million. Fernandes moved to Sampdoria in order to replace Roberto who reinforced Villarreal. Soriano He played 33 games for the Zebrette in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign, scoring three goals for the club, while providing four assists for his teammates.
Fernandes is a central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a secondary striker as well. He was born in Maia, Portugal on 8 September, 1994 and he began his youth career at Infesta. Fernandes has seven caps for Portugal U21 team and he has played 4 matches for the U23 team.
Highlighted Team (Aston Villa):
Aston Villa is one of the three clubs that dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. The Villans host their rivals at Villa Park, the stadium that was opened in 1897 and its’ capacity is 42,682. However, it has to be noted that the highest attendance recorded at the stadium was 76,588 when Aston Villa faced Derby County in the FA Cup back in 1946.
Aston Villa’s fiercest rivals are Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, the rivalry between Aston Villa and Wolves and Coventry City is big as well. Aston Villa have won seven First Division (Premier League) trophies, with the team clinching seven FA Cup trophies as well.
The team’s biggest success, though, came in 1982 when they won the European Cup. The Villans defeated Bayern Munich (1-0) in the title game and Peter Withe was named the man of the match.
