Sunday’s football game at Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos pits together Almeria and Valencia, the two relegation-threatened teams. Almeria are eager to put an end to their four-match winless run, but they will have a big fish to fry against los Che. Inigo Eguaras returns from suspension, while both Sergio Akieme and El Bilal Toure remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Valencia, meanwhile, aim to escape the danger zone, but given their poor losing run on the road, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of picking up more than one point from the relegation six-pointer. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Uruguay star Edinson Cavani, while goalkeeper Jaume Domenech has yet to overcome an ACL problem. There are no other selection worries in the visiting team ahead of the trip to Andalusia.

Fernando Pacheco is a goalkeeper who plays for Deportivo Alaves in Primera Division. The 186-cm-tall shoot-stopper joined Real Madrid youth school at the age of 14 and it has to be noted that he made 41 appearances for Real Madrid B in Segunda Division.
However, he failed to make his debut for the first team. On 7 August. 2015 Pacheco signed a three-year contract with Deportivo Alaves and that proved to be the best decision of his career. He made his debut for the club on 22 August, 2015 in a 3-2 victory at Huesca.
The goalkeeper, who was born in Badajoz on 18 May, 1992, made 40 appearances for Alaves in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign, conceding less than one goal per match. He missed one game with injury and he was rested in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo Tarragona on the last day of the season. Pacheco is a left-footed player and his contract with Deportivo Alaves expires on 30 June, 2018.

Founded on March 18, 1919, Valencia FC are a Spanish football club that compete in La Liga. Los Che play their home games at Estadio de Mestalla, the stadium which was opened back in May, 1923. The capacity of the venue is 50,000. Seeing that bats are quite common in Valencia, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Bats.
Valencia made it to the Champions League final on two occasions (2000, 2001), but they were beaten in the title games by Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen respectively. The Spanish club, though, did well to win the UEFA Cup title in the 2003/2004 season, with the team beating Marseille in the final of the competition.
A number of top-class footballers were part of the club in the past, with the likes of Pablo Aimar, Ruben Baraja, David Albelda, Santiago Canizares, John Carew and Gaizka Mendieta all playing for the Estadio de Mestalla outfit. Valencia main colors are white and black, whilst they often where orange jerseys and shorts when playing on the travels.
