Getafe and Cadiz go head to head at Coliseum Alfonso Perez in the La Liga round 13. Los Azulones did well to beat Elche thanks to Enes Unal’s goal at the weekend, but they head into Saturday’s clash with a severely-weakened squad. Damian Suarez has joined Mauro Arambarri in the recovery room, while Jordan Amavi serves a one-game ban against Cadiz.
The Yellow Submarine, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Atletico Madrid, and they managed to get one thanks to Ruben Sobrino’s late goal. Sergio’s troops are high on spirits ahead of the trip to Madrid, but seeing that Getafe have turned their Coliseum into a real fortress, home win should be considered. Iza Carcelen is back from suspension, while Victor Chust is widely expected to replace injured centre-back Momo Mbaye in the starting XI.

His road to prominence was a long one, however, and Djene had to bide his time in order to be recognized for quality he undoubtedly possesses. Dapaong-born Togolese international, Djene Dakonam made his first football steps as a youth member of Etoile Filante.
Spells in Benin and Cameroon with Tonnerre d’Abomey and Coton Sport, respectively, saw Djene Dakonam grab attention of Alcoron, who moved in to bring him to Spain in 2014. During two years in Spain Djene Dakonam made 59 league appearances before moving to Sint-Truidense. It was in Belgium that Djene Dakonam proved his defensive versatility and Getafe came calling the very next year, in 2017.
Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.

Cadiz is a professional La Liga club that plays home games at Estadio Ramon de Caranza. The capacity of the stadium is 20,724 people, and it was opened back in September 1955. El Submarino Amarillo are well known for their yellow shirts, with the team wearing blue jerseys when playing on the travels.
The club was founded back on Sepember 8, 1910, with the team facing local rivals Cadiz Sporting Club in their first ever official match. Cadiz currently compete in la liga, with the team securing promotion to the Spanish top flight at the end of the 2019/20 season following a 15-year absence. Cadiz are one of those teams who produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Magico Gonzales is the most notable Cadiz player.
The legendary hot-tempered attacker scored 57 goals in 194 league appearances for El Submarino Amarillo, and he was well known for his amazing dribbling skills. Magico Gonzales scored 21 goals in 62 appearances for the Salvador national football team.
