Mallorca and Valencia face each other at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in the opening match of La Liga round 15. Los Bermellones defeated Las Palmas 3-2 at the weekend, with the team putting an end to their three-game winless run, but they do not want to stop now. Mallorca aim to climb to the Conference League berth and they are seen as favourites to win Friday’s game. Vedat Muriqi is banned for the match, while all Antonio Raillo, Abdon Prats, and Antonio Latorre miss out with injuries.
Los Che, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Real Betis and they managed to get one. Valencia now aim to escape the relegation zone, but given their poor away record (0-2-4) in the new La Liga campaign, home win should be considered. Pepelu will serve the last of his three-game ban, while the likes of Rafa Mir, Mouctar Diakhaby, Thierry Correia, and Maxi Caufriez remain in the recovery room.
