Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Tannadice Park will host Saturday’s Premiership game between Dundee United and St. Mirren. The Terrors made a slow start to the season, with the team collecting only one point in total from the first three league fixtures, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against the Saints. Experienced forward Steven Fletcher is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in a 4-1 loss at Hearts, whilst midfielder Peter Pawlett has yet to recover from an Achilles tendon problem.
St. Mirren, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ross County, but given their difficulties on the road, we believe that gamblers from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on the home side. The good news for the visiting team is that important defender Declan Gallagher is back from suspension.
Highlighted Player (Scott McMann):
Born on July 9, 1996, Scott McMann is a Scottish footballer who plays for Hamilton Academical as a defender. His primary position is a centre-back, but he is used as both left and right back as well. In 2016 he made seven appearances in the league during his loan spell with Clyde. McMann, who represented both Scotland U16 and U17 teams in the past, wears the number 3 on his shirt. The right-footed defender made his Scotland Premier League debut with Hamilton in a 1-0 win over St Mirren on May 23, 2015.
The Scottish footballer scored his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win at Clyde in the League Cup on July 17, 2019. Scott McMann wears the number 3 jersey at Hamilton Academical.
Highlighted Team (St Mirren):
St Mirren are Scottish football club that compete in the Scotland Premier League. Founded in 1877, the Buddies play home games at St Mirren Park. The venue, which was built in 2009, can hold up to 8,000 spectators.
St Mirren are well known for their white and black home kit, while black and violet are the dominant colours of their away kit. The Scottish club played their first match against Johnstone Britannia on October 6, 1877, winning the game by one goal to nil. St Mirren have a bitter rivalry with Greenock Morton, and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two clubs.
The Buddies recorded their biggest win on January 30, 1960, with the team crushing Glasgow University 15-0 in the Scottish Cup. David McCrae is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart with 221 league goals. St Mirren have won the Scotland Premiership three times (1925/26, 1958/59, 1986/87).
